turfing xft footholds

If they're still turfed from Sergio, carefully remove the old turf with acetone and use it for a template. If not, you'll have to make your own template. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that it's a single piece with only one seam. Use plenty of heat. It's pretty tough.

i did keep the old stuff as a template but am afraid that wrapping the turf around and under will cause problems. looks like sergio bends the turf to conform to theoutside edge of the holds as well. if i mess up the turf then i have to redo the foam also and the foam was a pain enough already. i am halfway through a sheet of foam already just on these footholds.

I didn realize you already had the turf off when I pmed you. if you already have the foam in, what i did was glued it in on the inside and left plenty hang out. then glued the outside edges, wrapped it and cut it to fit, just take your time and be careful not to get glue on the carbon fiber that shows after turfing

since I moved mine forward 5 inches, I turfed a solid peice into the sides that wrapped around and a separate peice for the bottom. this is the only pic I have
