Czech out this Grate.

The trailing scoop matches the pump shoe like Sh*T.

It almost looks like they pulled the casting "out of the oven" before it was fully cooked.

Anybody else running this grate run into this?

Any one care to comment? I'm about ready to get the dremel out. If I do, then there's no possibility of exchanging it for something else.

Strange fit. Are you gonna grind the topside or remove it and grind the side that makes contact with the boat

I had JD plate and grate on my FX1. The castings didn't match the hull nor each other well at all, had 1/4" gaps around the ride plate. Hooked up great though, so...

If this is an XFS - I just changed a worx into another grate and it does stick out a bit, I did seal up all orfaces with silicone around the grate and pump shoe and plate...

Here's what I have tentavely planned, if I decide to take a dremel to it. If I do match the rear scoop to the pump shoe, it is removing a good sized portion of the "scoop" and I would have to reshape the inside to retrieve some of the original countour.

Plus, look at the gap on the side of this thing. It would take a healthy dollup of silicone to fill that.

I'm don't know if I'm feeling this grate... if I have to butcher it to fit.
