A lot of people talk S*** about sbt, but I've never had any issues with their products. Tons of people on here run their cranks. Glad you got it all figured out.

Now lets here the record for a Kawi motor!! :p 3 seasons??

Ha this literally mad me laugh out loud.

I think SBT can be really good or really bad. I recently rebuilt an SBT 760 and the build quality was really bad. Wrong and mismatched bolts throughout, black silicone used for cases instead of 1911 and it was all over the crank, it had broken a reed, paint was the worst i had seen.

But that being said I run SBT cranks from JM on all my stock rebuilds and haven't had any issues with the crank (yet).

For a stock engine in a stock ski I think SBT can be fine and I have never seen one fail. Now, their build quality and a lot of their parts are questionable and it is known they cut the heads to lower compression in some models. I am fine using their cranks but for everything else they make you can get better quality and even OEM for the same price or less.

They are also the only game in town for someone that needs an engine fast, with a warranty and can't rebuild their own engines.
