Drill a hole into the caps (carefully, the screws are right under them) and then pry them out or use an EZ-out bit.

Under a brass cap..... Hmmm, post a picture.

The adjusters themselves are located on each side of your 38mm carbs. One is higher than the other, being your high speed adjuster, lower being low speed adjuster.

Sorry for Paint skillz, but what I circled is the adjuster. They may not have the small "T" through it, so just use a screwdriver. Set them as per Factory Pipe settings.

In 2006 and later Superjets, the adjusters are hidden under brass caps. Supposedly for emissions controls to keep people from messing with the carb settings.

Yeah was kinda shocked when I saw that, I wanted to pry the caps off but was afraid of frickin it up.

do stock carbs with the brass caps also mean the carbs have the fine pitch lo speed adjuster screw? And, if so, is the fine pitch exactly 2x a 'standard' pitch or some other ratio? just curious...thanks!

I'm pretty sure its 04 and newer..
they are threaded differently than the old adjuster screws. are you sure you need to screw with them normally those settings witht the proper jets seem to work just fine
if you get a screw driver end for a socket their a breaze to access once drilled too

Update: I drilled the caps, which were thicker than I imagined. Took an easy out and backed the caps out. I found by drilling the cap almost all the way through and stopping short of going through, it worked pretty well by tapping the easy out in and backing the cap out. I did the recommended adjustments and she ran great yesterday.
