Type 4 questions

Ok I am sending my pipe ot for repair. While I have it out being repaired I might as well replace some of the warn parts.
1) WHere can I buy locally the Oring for the front of the pipe?
2) How big is it size around and thickness?
3) What are the best clamps (hose clamps) for the coupler?
I broke the cheep Home depot ones.....

0-rings free to a good home. I bought a big bag from McMaster-Carr awhile back so I have plenty to spare. #337 Buna O-ring ID 3", OD 3-3/8", 3/16" W

This what we have been using for replacement coupler material. It's heavier than the blue silcone stuff and the local Napa's can get within a day or so. One stick will give you approximately 15 couplers. Napa# NBH644 ID 3-1/2" X 2-3/16"L Coupler

Get T-bolt style coupler clamps, the worm drive ones are crap. I also never used the O-Rings, high temp copper sealant only for me with no problems while I owned it.

Use the O ring. It prevents damage due to the two parts hitting each other. Pack the thing full of high temp silicone and put it together. It makes the coupler last much longer.
