Top job there mate. Wish I had never sold my old one.

Had a one off light weight one that had the same treatment urs is getting.

Think it ended up at 45kg hull and Hood pole bracket etc in the end.

Damn why did that nice hull end up in that shape?
Coudos to you sir, you are doing a beautiful job! really love your attention to detail and quality of work!
I hope you get to enjoy that ski. I always thought it was a cool looking hull.

Real happy with how the bottom half came out. My first paint job in nearly 3 years.
Ive used this colour before and love it. Subtle but the pearl keeps it interesting

Dang, looks nice. What did u end up using for the motor mounts? Not the inserts but the part you put them In.
I have seen plenty of aftermarket skis use resin like that for the motor mounts. Only recently am I really seeing billet mounts and such.

I actually rescued the fibre glass part that the origonal insert was in. Then bonded in replicas of the stock superjet inserts that i made.
Then i bolted the motor mounts and motor to the fiber glass parts with a 1mm shim in. Chocked the motor up to the bottom of the hull so that it was lined up with the midshaft, then tacked in the mounts with an epoxy and cabosil mix. Let that go off then removed the motor and filled the gaps up and then over layed around the edges before skinning the whole bottom of the hull and going over all including the mounts with the carbon kevlar
