Thanks guys for all the ideas. I need to build a cart so it is easier to get this thing on and off the truck at home by myself. does anyone remember how far apart center to center the rails should be on a square nose? Also there was a picture with foam on the rails - Does it stay on without ripping if you slide the ski on? thank you.

I use 11 inches oc for an sx. You can buy all weather carpet from hd.

furniture mover cart deal from harbor freight is less than $20 carpeted with wheels. Set the ski right on it and its pretty dang handy to push the ski around the shop. low enough to go under a counter even.

chopped up a bunch of 2x4s and some HF wheels a while back and made this for working on them:

chopped up some PVC a while back and made this for a permanent dock:

still could use a beach cart of some type

Beach Dolly/stand

Most have already seen this but here is what I consider this my '' Ultimate '' dual use , dolly /stand . I work on the ski while on the stand also , perfect height .I had more fun building this than I did my ski LOL ! It will also climb stairs '' Backwards '' with a blaster on it so its got plenty of power when needed .

The first thing I said when I saw this rig was "Sweet! That has to be Frank's!"
I didn't know you were working on one, and your ski wasn't even on it, haha. Awesome setup there buddy!

This is a furniture dolly base with some wood work and pvc bunks. Could use bigger casters though.

What are you using for the axles on your cart and how did you attach them to that square tube?

I welded the cut off axle shafts into the square tubing and welded on some flanges that I could bolt through, you can see the flanges in the first pic. I can get some closeups if you like.

If you could that would be awesome. Right now how to mount/make my axles is my hold up.

Thanks,
