umi steering shortend sterring q's

so i would like to get a lil closer on my ski feel the stock sterring is kinda weak and want to know how the shortend sterring is intalled i was thinking how does it fit when you atach the sterring cable and rod it will need to be adj, moved down hows this accomplished:sad:

ive never had to cut the cable. you should have plenty of adjustment between the two ends.
