Super Jet unbreakable stainless steel coupler cover

Not sure everybody has the same definition of unbreakable but.......

To be fair this just happened and i have not contacted them yet to see if the will be replacing for free i would hope the would.

I have yet to see a coupler cover that is better or cheaper or more durable than the stock one.
That said, I'm sure Blowsion will take care of you.

Yea its back to the cracked stock one I think I am going to order a extra stock one to be prepared if this happens again. At least if it goes i don't really have to worry about damaging the coupler since it is plastic. Good thing i ran out of gas right after a big air only to find it resting on the coupler.

the metal ones WILL BREAK your mounting ears off the bedplates usually before the coupler cover beaks.

They are essential. Ride with one and you'll know what you've been missing.

Everyone just got a lesson in metal fatigue. There needs to be rubber isolation mounts on the engine side. Or just make the part from composites.

Stock or one that mounts to the hull, those are the only ones that last in my experience.

Agreed it did come with rubber isolators but i guess they were not up to the task.

that's what I did with my stainless blowsion one. My new carbon cover is bullet proof!

If an aftermarket part like that requires additional modification or parts, it is not worth buying. Buy bolt on or buy stock which bolts on.

What exactly is wrong with stock? Do they break a lot?

Agreed, I have tried a SS one as well. Crap compared to OEM plastic. Looked cool while it lasted though...

i had the exact same thing happen to my stainless coupler cover with the rubber isolators/grommets installed.. the thing is a piece. If your going to go with anything other than stock go with the wamiltons carbon coupler cover, def not cheaper though.
