thanks for the info that would suck. And not in a good way.the metal ones WILL BREAK your mounting ears off the bedplates usually before the coupler cover beaks.
bit off topic and might be a dumb question, but are coupler covers needed? Ive been running my SJ since i got it (bout 8 months) without one...
Everyone just got a lesson in metal fatigue. There needs to be rubber isolation mounts on the engine side. Or just make the part from composites.

cut little pieces of fuel hose use washers to make an isolator..done
They never break and they cost less than $20 brand-new
