Is this the same technology Chris used on Sons of Guns to make his " Anti-Sinking" rifle?

-Sounds like a good Idea.I'm with Joker.. lets see some actual Field Testing.

High five for a cool idea and simple. My first concern is the bag deploying if the ski is momentarily under water. For instance nose stab, nose in back flip attempt etc. im struggling to see how the force of water wouldn't push the bag off the Velcro mont, but the buoyancy would.

I'm sure the video may help with this whenever you get it finished.

Concerns aside, very slick. I may wait to see one I'm person, but I have a feeling I will want one of these on my new hull.

I wondered the same thing but will wait to see their video. I pictured watching someone riding surf with a bright bag whipping around behind them and following them off every wave 50 feet back. Kinda made me laugh but thats just me being retarded. The product is a great idea even if it only works for manual deployment... I'd like to see how the auto deployment works though.

Here are a few images I took this morning of how and where the retriever is mounted on my XFS. You can mout it any where you choose, there is not a set location. This was originally designed for manual deployment. After testing and feedback from others, we came up with the possibility of automatic deployment as well. Testing has shown that automatic deployment can work. A video will be posted up as stated above in the next week of how the Retriever can automatically deploy if that is what is set up for.

Yes the rope pulls right out. Its all in the packing. Simply follow any "how to pack a throw bag" on youtube. Still waiting to hear back from my college for permission to use the pool. I have done tests in pool before, but with weights, not a complete ski. Last resort is a river...

kawasakis suck
you did tests on the retriever in the pool? being on an actual ski shouldnt really matter then should it? as long as the weights were close
