IMO... all these `logos` are bogus...
Look at the major logos throughout history that are so recognizable, SIMPLICITY is the key. SONY, CANON, their logo is their name, same with ebay. In this instance, waterdawg is just too long of a name to be used in a logo, it needs to be some sort of symbol that people will recognize and associate with the company rather than reading the name with a bunch of tribal designs or a skull with fire on it.
Take this as constructive criticism everyone, If this logo contest is already over then I would suggest Jeff starts another. In retrospect it may have been a better idea to hire a professional for $1000.
Just to name a few more logos to inspire the amature logo writers out there, BP, AMOCO, IBM, APPLE, BLOWSION, JSU, NOVI, McDonalds, Mitsubishi, Chevrolet....
Im not trying to offend anyone, the creativity is there but its not logo material IMO.
