I sure as hell wouldn't cut into a new ski just to put in foam. I think you'll be fine! No bulkhead, for me, would be a definite no go, though. That's a bit much for me
Actually I just realized that the pour foam would be poured in the gun wells. So maybe it wouldn't get wet? I'll have to ask Josh or Brian if the top and bottom decks are open or if the foam would stay in just the gun well area.
HHMMMM I know there is a bulkhead as I was there when they were installing the engine, etc. So maybe it is a completely different layup then their comp models? Like I said I am really clueless with skis as far as how they are built so I'll just wait until I hear what they say. But thanks for reassuring me no foam is fine!!! Definitely makes me fell A LOT better!
And I don't want it to seem like I don't listen to or trust Brian and Josh!! They are great guys who build great hulls. But that RIP sinking really freaked me out!
