Using 148 pump with 155 pump shoe

looking to see if anyone has done this?

If the ski is set up with a 155 pump shoe, but you want to run a 144/148 pump?

Maybe an adaptor ring/seal?

Interested in thoughts and experiences

Running a 155 pump at this point is not an option

I have done this in my T1 hull - No adapter needed. I have ran both a 140mm Mag and now a 148 Solas. No problems, just use some silicone sealant around the seal ring.

I ran a 144 solas with my 155 shoe for a few weeks until I finished my 155 pump. Worked fine. Just make sure it seals all the way around.

Yet test it but gives you an idea. Seal fits nicely on the outer 'lip' I just added some sikaflex to be sure.

LOL ok figured this was the case as with just about every other part I try to get to fit.

We thought about offering a 155/148 shoe but the market place was saturated with regular shoes and sales would be small.
