Other v-force 3,anyone run it?

From what I have been told recently, keep in mind I've never changed reeds in anything didn't believe it made a big enough difference. (DASA intake) Vforce 2's are T/R, more low end. (DASA intake) 3's are T/R and top end (racing). (BOYESON intake) RAD valves are the best for flatwater. I'm not one to speculate on reeds, I know engine builders recommend what they want. I ordered a Vforce 2 setup from thrust, they sent the setup directly from Dasa and I received Vforce 3's instead. They offered to exchange them but I opted out. Not that big of a deal for me. I would check if there are any other mods you can do for the same amount of $ that are more of a gain. JMO

so the v-force make differance only in a highly modified engine, just try to find something to get a little bit more braap!!!

Others can speculate but from my point of view reeds aren't a game changer. A lot of other stuff that you will notice a huge difference from. Pipe, compression, prop, etc.

When I had my stock superjet I noticed the biggest differences with going to a 13/18 prop, then to a factory b pipe, then to dual 44's, then to Ada head 200 psi, then to a 9/15 hooker. Once again I strictly ride flatwater. Aerial tricks only for this guy. What kind of riding do you do and what mods are on your boat?

They work great .run them on both my set-ups (kawi & yamaha) like zzylstra said not really a game changer as far as "seat of your pants" performance ,but if you are running a modified engine i think their a great enhancement over stock much more throttle sensitive with a lager volume of air than say your stock cage . as far as the comment "v-force 2 being for freestyle and v-force3 for racing" i don't think this is 100% accurate ,i just think some builders prefer the fitment and the shape of the older lager petals of the v-force2 in the mani .v-force 3 works great for freestyle as well

Do not waste your money of v force. I have done it and it is a minimal gain. By a light weight flywheel or have your lightened. Bump that compression up a bit too while you are at it

its not really about a "huge gain" its the performance they offer your motor package .but it defiantly offers performance to the technical throttle deliveries of freestyle. also enhances a well tuned motor for sure.

That's the information I was waiting for, that's more of a help to you. The only reason I am running A/M reeds is because they are used with the larger volume intake manifolds for large carbs

lightwieght flywheel, I wouldn't worry about reeds until you do some porting, and bigger carbs, a/m intake
