V-Wake Backflips on the Columbia

We managed to get two nice wakeboard boats out on the water today for a V-Wake session.
A good v-wake freakin' launches you! :bigok:
My flips got nearly as much air as those I've tried in the surf.
I need to work on my form more. The best one I nosed in. I have no trim, but a shortened hull.

Oh, during a break at the dock (when I had to replace my ride plate), a newspaper photographer came up to us wanting pictures of us at the dock. We started grinning ear to ear and asked to come along for a ride in one of the boats, we'd make it worth it.
So he came along, shot a lot pictures. I'll be in the paper tomorrow, hopefully upside down. :woot:

I am the master. That's how.

I bailed on one jump and the ski came down vertical onto the pump from a long ways up.
The plate was already cracked, so I guess the sudden water pressure blew it out.

I am not sure what a limited engine setup entails - I am not up on the race terms.

I have a Jetworks 754cc engine with TL and a mag pump.

limited set up = lots of bolt-ons and no port work.

Ah....mine is ported (case and cylinder) and has some bolt ons:

200 psi compression
Jetworks reeds on stock cages
46 BlackJacks
ATP Total Loss
140 mag pump
B-Pipe

I think so. That v-wake launches you straight up. My buddy Cam was out on that blue 650SX (650 motor with lots of bolt ons) and he was getting crazy air on it.

If those pics were in our local paper, we would be in jail next time out on the water. Our friendly marine police say that is reckless endangerment. When we get lucky enough to have a double up everyone is on high alert for the water patrol.
