value of a 2015 SJ hull....

has there been anyone selling a new sj hull? ive considered buying one to use as a donor for an aftermarket build... but i'd have to re-coop some of the cost. any idea what the hull/hood/pole etc would be worth if i stripped it down?.

I believe you will come out better buying individual parts, even mostly new, considering the fact that you won't use lots of the stock parts. Most builds won't use the stock pump, impeller, exhaust, CDI, head, pole, bracket, etc. I believe you could get around $2500, maybe more, to the right person for the hull, hood, pole, etc though. I suppose it just depends on what kind of price you can get on the complete ski...

well, i would use most all the stock parts, this being for the wife so still at $2500 for the hull, it wouldn't be worth it.. i'd have to be in the $3500 range to make it worth the trouble...

If you found a slightly used one with a bpipe and maybe a few more useful am parts for 5k, a part out would be worth it. Sell the bare hull for about 2k. If the hull has been cut up for holdholds this brings the value down imo, at least on the 08+ hull. Holds on older models were more desired because those hulls handled better for freestyle.

I'd be interested in buying just the hull from a 2012-2015 SJ, but not at $3500
