Vegas AquaBot Build.

Wanted to restart this thread since I've been getting a lot of messages asking about it. Deleted the last one because people were dropping all kinds of negative posts. Seriously grow up people. Let's keep this clean....

Here it is. My 2014 V2 Aquabot both tony and Chris were great to work with. I rode a aquabot for a few minutes at finals in 2013 and fell in love with it and sold my super jet February 2014, made my deposit march 2014 completed build in November took way longer than expected to get it together really bummed but it is what it is, I wanted a clean build with new parts to avoid headaches.

The goods:

2014 AquaBot V2 Red gelcoat
RaCu designs full custom Carbon fiber design look wrap coming soon
Adjustable rear footholds
Added molded in front foothold
Requested foam in bulkhead

Control :

Black Aura pole (tubes at 22.5inches for future reference)
Thrust steering
Rrp bars
Odi grips
Cold fusion throttle lever
Tbm trim lever
New oem steering and throttle cable
Hand Warmers to be installed.
Tim , unknown of brand will probably upgrade to thrust ez pull when I have the $$

Pump:
Solas 144mag
Single 1/2cooling line, hull comes with dual single is plenty for my application imo
Hooker 9/15 prop
85mm reduction nozzle
Stock steering nozzle
Stock midshaft housing rebuilt with a cold fusion sub shaft
Oem plastic pump shoe
201 Worx intake grate

Motor:

Originally was planning running my old 61x that was fogged covered and stored on my shelf, long story short she was tired and worn out.

For the time being my good friend has lent me his 62t 701 with dual 44s high comp head, lightened flywheel and MSD she's a good ripper and perfect for me to learn the hull with a small motor

A HPE 809 will be going in the ski soon as I get cought back up with the debt from the ski and hospital bills, anyways.....

other mis parts:
New cold fusion fuel tank and Oem straps
Cold fusion battery box
Xmetal waterbox
Rad dudes long exhaust tube
Dual 500gph bildge pumps
Thrust water pisser and bildge outlets, love the. Really sleek and low profile deign
B2 Ebox mounts
Stock couch mounts

That's about all I can think of, if anyone has any questions building these or wants a demo on either the hull or the HPE motor feel free to contact me.
The build was super smooth once I got the right parts for each application was my first time building a hull from scratch and I learned a lot.

Here's a few pictures once I get it 100% I'll take a few more and a movie, look back for videos of me riding once I get in the water

Thank you for viewing..

Before I forget can't think Tony and Chris as long with jet maniac and everyone one else who has helped me with this build enough great people to work with,

Nice build!!! The aquabot is still #1 on my list for the hull I am buying this season. I wish they were a little lighter, but they are definitely tough as nails and ride amazing!

Back on track really want to get this thing in the water and ride it already.

Spent a week going through all the sand toys and getting everything ready for the dunes for a 5day weekend at the dunes for family thanksgiving fun. Now to get home and finish the build. Got a few things left and going to work on it and get it in the water..

Today was the day I had my maiden voyage rode for a whole tank of fuel. No miss haps. Ski ran flawless. So much fun to ride. Carves and slashes turns fast it really does what you want it to do. Absoutly no splash cause of the full bond line. I'm so in love and couldn't be any happier. 2015 is looking up!20141229_113718.jpg
