@Tyrant1919 So the bike clips only release when the ankle is twisted outwards? It sounds like you'd get clipped in and wouldn't be able to get out.

The pedals work twisting your ankles in, too... And pretty sure you could hang upside down by most clipless pedals. But twist your ankles 10-15 degrees, and fall right out.

What about the stuff NFL players put on their hands to catch a football...you could slather a bunch of that in the tray and instant better grip. If you need to bail it is still feasable.

Just thought of a complete no for Velcro because look at what Velcro does when it gets mudd on it,
And how many times do you get on your ski with muddy shoes on.

In theory I think it's a great idea but for real there is just to many factors that would make it not work.

It would probably save you more times than not because you can't bail
mid-flip if you are locked on to the ski
