I just gotta vent alittle. I wont mention any names but Ive had the simple service of cutting a set of domes strung out since shipping a set to measure from April 27th. The number 1 thing I hate is not getting feedback. Communication is key, I like to know how things are going even for something this simple.

The total turn around was suppost to be 2 weeks. ok cool. So 2 1/2 weeks pass and I give the shop a call....... "Oh yeah Scott (me) your supplied domes wont work like I thought.... Your gonna need a new girdled head and domes, ive got the blank domes instock so this will be done but the end of the week." So I bite the bullet and pay a little over priced for the whole set...

2 weeks or so passed, I call. "oh yeah Scott I only had 1 blank dome instock, its will be early nexted week when I get my big order in with the dome to cut. Ill have it shipped right after" Im getting pissed right now but I never lose my cool and just say "ok thanks, let me know how it goes"

So the calls back and forth continue, he promises to ship never does. Never calls me. Also promises free shipping and priority mail... Dont get that either.

Finnally the stuff arrives, domes are cut wrong. My bad on this one though. I thought I had a 5mm stroker per the previous owner, but its accully 4mm. So I contact the shop owner and hes cool, says he'll make a new set for me no charge... Great! MAn im greatful that he is going to do this for me but its been weeks now again and now when it finnally ships, its LOST IN THE MAIL. To top things off the owner cant do a thing for me until he gets back from vaction on August 1st.

So yeah summer is over the peak and ive got 1 hour on my superjet. I just feel the rage inside me b/c there isnt a damn thing I can do.

Some sellers/businesses don't get the whole communication thing. I guess it's too difficult to let someone know whats going on. I feel your pain.

Yup, sucks when that happens :(

I waited over 8 months for a damn 4x4 part because the guy was not making enough profit to do another run of the parts I ordered. I would have cancelled and went with someone else but my ******** wasn't getting done anyway so I waited it out.

You know how the saying goes... if you want something done right, do it yourself.

So purchase some blank domes from somewhere else and have someone with a lathe turn them down to your specs.

I recently gave someone here another chance after a horrible transaction a while back. And yes, still no communication even after a pm requesting shipping info. Some people dont get it...

I tried to buy something, asked several times for an address and phone number, never got it, and was bitched at for not making the pick up.

The guy that has my dirt bike, keeps telling me "I'll call you next week" and "the deal will be done tomorrow". He's promised to call every weekend for a month and I always call 2 days after he said he would and am told "tomorrow". I'm so done. I want to hear "today".

That sucks man. Like he said... I hope you have the stock head and just didn't think about it.

Yeah ive got the orginal head but its 215psi and non-girdled. so i have to run 110 octane gas and run the risk of a cracked cylinder/ messing up my billet crank.
