Custom/Hybrid VForce 2 or 3's?

Most seem to prefer the 2's. They've been recommended to me by two reputable builders on two different engines. Not sure of the actual differences, I just do what the people who know better tell me to do!

the difference is in the reed stopper. I dont know if there is other difference.

BTW RAD valve are awesome too. I can make you a really good deal for a boyesen intake kit, LMK.

ive run 3s on my last 2 boats, they work great but dont be expecting a massive gain from either if its the only thing your doin, as said above the rad vavle boyesen system is the dogs dangleys and is used by xscream, enough said!

Due to their snap together design VF3's tend to put pressure on the reed petals and after a few hrs of run time the reeds tend to hang open. From my exp this is fine if you are a person who rides with the on off on off on off style of throttle control. For those who like linear smooth throttle control the lack of reeds firmly seating tends to load the motor into an extra rich condition. Sure some will bash but this is what i have found. There is also a reason DASA designed their manifold around VF2 maybe they found the same.

I just bought the Dasa/2's and the manifold really is a work of art. Haven't got to run it yet because in still building. But good luck either way I'm sure you will be happy

the vf3's apparently have less twisting and fluttering of the reeds when opening so should last longer.
the light opening breese08 mentions is not detrimental when running as the case pressure seals them shut.
