Other viewing non mobile version on smart phone. ...????

I may be missing something obvious but I can't seem to figure out how to view the full site version here on my smart phone. I love the new server, but I Def like the full site I get on my desk top much better then the Mobile version. My phone is often linked to wifi and is quite good at running many other full sites on the Web. so I'm hopeful I can figure this out.

I have ended up using the app tapatalk. It works well once you get use to it and sends you notifications when someone posts to your thread or pms you. On the regular mobile site neither my phone nor Ipad works as seemlessly as I think it should. As for viewing the desktop site , depending on the browser you are using, you can set your browser to desktop then the servers/site think you are viewing on a desktop. I have the skyfire browser on my ipad and iphone.

Tried selecting desktop version in both my two different browser (Samsung Internet and Google Chrome) settings. Still looks the same. Crap I was really trying to avoid tap talk.

Does using tap talk have any effect when you do use the desktop computer? I switch back and forth a few times daily

I do to and never had a problem. With the new system it still shows all the alerts even after I've read them in tapatalk.

Tapatalk has no effect when you use your desktop, other than it makes it easier to clear all the unread threads without having to actually look at the ones you don't want to.

I like the desktop version on my phone but it does cut down on some stuff just due to the lack of pixels. I turn the phone sideways real quick if I want to see somebody's location or want a button to show up at the top of the page

The theme is responsive so it works on all devices, there is no mobile theme anymore.

Mobile devices are hard to design for now because you have all the way up to 1080p resolution on the higher end devices now.

Oh crap i feel like retard. I always have the screen rotation locked on my phone. Therefore i never realized if i turned the screen rotate on and turned it sideways, all the threads "latest" and user information (such as location) all a sudden comes up. My bad i just assumed i was somehow one "mobile". Sorry for a useless thread.....

I use the non-mobile version on my phone only...I use the Google app and then go to the website as I normally would.
