They will build it the way you want, i hade rrp holds put in so i see no resone why the one you want will be a problem, also looks like it can take any pole and braket, but Waterfreak should speak on both these questions

Sounds perfect then! I like quick steering. I run my steering cable all the way out on the turn plate and have the nozzle relocation bracket so it's super sensitive. I agree, those rickter foot holds stick out and get in the way and I didnt like the feel of them on my feet either. I have kickers currently but my favorite so far are the Waterdawg holds. Trinity will install any foothold you chose. This how visions work as well? Because I'd like to get one with Waterdawg holds. Also wanted to run an xmetal handle pole with a round nose drop bracket. Will this set up work on a vision? I want to be different and not run an rrp plus, I have a nice composite rn chin pad already an xmetal pole will be 1/3 of the price of the rrp

you can run any footholds you want...just send them to me and I will install them.
Flatwater throwdown on the boards ( anthony harp) runs an x-metal pole and bracket on his black Vision. It is at the longest length available and seemed a little short to me ,but it worked good for him.

at work, not sure if i know how to post picks so that coiuld take some time for me to do or try, i could msg you some to a phone number if you have a smart phone or email it. i got the Vision looking for an alround hull, i was riding totally free ride lakes and rivers, no ocean, crusing or all out with a dry pipe on an Rn, kind of boring really, now with the -4 its opened up alot more to me freestyle wise. i cant really do any tricks yet, but iam working on it. i rode yesterday jumping wake board boat wakes with my freind who is on my onld 96 RN with a 701 and type 4 dry pipe. let me tell iam smoking his behind, iam goiung higher, father and with more style, landing better and i could do a flip if new how, the eqipment is there, the Visions way better

I will be swapping all my superjet parts into the new hull. Running 62t/61x dual 44's and type 4 dry pipe. I won't be able to use the dry pipe in a vision huh? Seems like all a/m hulls can only clear wet pipes

Ahh really? That's good to know because I hate really short poles.. My rn pole on my sn is cut some I believe but not sure i bought it used. I like it but could go for it being an inch or two shorter than it is. Ill have to be positive I like xmetal pole fit on a vision before buying this stuff... I won't be buying a new hull until next year so I have some time to get this all lined up. I'm having a hard time deciding what color... That yellow hull looks super sick I love yellow? But that blue color is sweet too. It's a toss up haha

I've ridden a bunch of diff hulls, the evo2 is a really really nice hull, if I had an endless pocket.. I'd most likely go that route but, I don't like the footholds either. You can't beat WCF holds, having owned my vision for over a year now and coming from a superjet the vision gives you more stability and its lighter. IMO The Fit, price and finish you get on the Vision you will not be able to find a better deal on the market today. You can take all your old superjet stuff and swap in without any trouble(not saying you have to). I run the full length though most guys are running -4?. I'm 6'1" I liked the idea of sticking to the same length or -1 of the stock SJ. You do get some water to the face my only complaint. That and the nose visually takes some getting use to but, it will grow on you. The hull is still holding strong. Steve is a great guy too and a pleasure to do business with.
I'm leaning towards the standard length hull since its already 6" shorter than a superjet correct? Don't get me wrong, I want something that is good for surf cuz I do take trips to the ocean but mainly ride the lake at home and river rapids in snow melt off season. I want a ski that will backflip and this ski surely well I mean hell even a superjet will lol. I'm just not looking to do flat water freestyle. Don't want a super lift and nose high riding ski. This vision is sounding more amazing the more responses I receive on here... And the nose doesn't have to grow on me, first sight at a vision and I loved the nose! How the side rails taper off and it's just a glass nose it's sick. The whole ski looks amazing

Sorry was not saying the dry pipe wont fit, i was just refering to what i was riding.

We measured the dry pipes height from the top of the left rear engine mount bolt "bolt that goes thru bed plate" to the top of the pipe, measured 15 inches. Transferred this measurement to the Visions rear motor mount bolt and that puts the pipe approximinatly 4 inches above the hood seal. Now the hood liner has deep pockets in it where the pipes positioned, that pocket is 5 inches deep from the liners hood sealing surface, so it appears to be about one inch clearance if this helps you

Best thing to do would be to call the Watercraft Factory and ask about the pipe fitment, their are other measurements we did not take

Oh I see right on man. Well sounds like it would clear the hood at least but gotta make sure the manifold clears the side wall and the chamber clears the hood seal rim.. Yup ill have to ask the builder. If it doesn't fit, don't care ill rock a b pipe but I do like the dry pipe better and already own it ya know.. Damn b pipes cost a fortune lol

Yes that's a -4 Vision, pretty cool. Just ordered a +4 ride plate for my yellow Vision to try out in the surf :)

Hi Dmpus,

Ive ordered a Vision -4 but Im unsure if the pump will be too unprotected when landing in shallow water (i ride 100% in the surf).
Did you have any issue with yours? (Ive already ripped off the pump shoe once in my 2010 SJ landing on a reef ).

Regards

Hey, What's up Harbor?! I was looking through the forums to find info on moving my handle pole bracket forward on my SJ.... seems like "THE FORUM'S BIGGEST SECRET". LOL My search is turning up BS for results.... Maybe you or a friend can help?

I wish to gain big results from doing a good bit of glass work on my 1997 superjet. I hope to accomplish centering my mass for back flips and/or barrel rolls. I ride mostly flat water for the next 5-6 years due to being where I am in the USA. I am from the ocean and hope to ride ocean a couple times a year still. I have a 701 with just about everything you can do to it before increasing displacement. Also, I have not increased my pump situation yet. I'm ok with increasing pump area too with 12 vane stator and big hub impeller, and a stubby cone... I figure approx. $1000 on that set up? OH... and does that Solas 12 vane bolt right up to a stock steering nozzle?

Ok, I'm ADD, but back to the subject... Will I find mass improvements in being able to pull backwards on my ski, and being able to push my ski forward into a "sub" easier with moving my pole bracket forward 4"... or should I just cut my pole 4"?

More info on my ski, I just bought and installed a crappy protect trim system. Since I can't figure out how it works(cause it probably doesn't for my application) I leave it set a little trim up to get my nose out of the water quicker,

Thanks to anyone who can help me decide if I NEED to do this handle pole project!!!!!

What's up bud? Most chop the poll, I liked -4 inches and straight bars with close to pivot steering. This is off topic ill Pm you.

I have a tank on one. It's the best hull I've ever rode. It's a superjet on crack. It responds to where you put your body and will dime turn at high speeds.
