I didnt care for either the ferrari or the lambo. and the only thing the lambo shares with Audi is the V10 engine block. bore/stroke/compresion/cams/tuning/EVERYTHING else is different. the cars are a smilar as mars and neptune

as for the vision.

I have never been sold on yamahammer hulls. I rode kawis and polaris' (yeah yeah, octane styled after yammie, blah blah blah). I have ridden a few of WCF boats and a few other hulls, and none were for me. the handling, stability and ridabilty sold me on the vision. I had to have one. moy octane is still a more stable and I feel more ballanced boat, but the vision is more fun to ride.

That yellow and black one in the begining of the thread is so hard I went outside looked and my superjet. Put my head down -_- walked away shaking my head in disappointment. Lol that -4 yellow hull looks pissed off. Also looks like its popping that pump out sick ski bump

Man all my favorite color combos are being built already! Flipside's orange ski was my first choice with the green/black diamond turf, and now this! Steve, is this ski spoken for or is it for sale? Glass or carbon? 1.0 or 2.0?

Its for sale. Its a -4 though.

Go for the color you like. All the ones built so far did not get the grafics kit so if you did that it would look different. He should be able to do different colors for the top and bottom.

It's still for sale as far as I know and it belongs to Optima. it was supposed to be built for WF but they just didn't have time. However, if it does not sell at WF (hull only), mike will have it assembled for daytona

I was really interested in that hull. Would have highly considered taking it home if it were surf layup.

The vision is def the hull most interesting me right now. I also like the look of the foot rocket but its a bit heavier in glass form then the vision and isnt American made. No offense to our OZ friends but love to keep my investments state side. But my biggest questions is can the -4 hull be held wide open? What is length of the stock vision in inches? Maybe i missed the length posted somewhere else, if i did excuse my ignorance. I would really like to ride a vision in the surf. Is the 78lbs glass hull def ruled out for surf? I dont do huge air trick but do go pretty high and hard off the lip.... Could i just reinforce the non surf lay up a bit to make it a little stronger but not as heavy as the surf lay up? Seen the OR hull at wavedaze and really like the fit and finish.

yes, the -4 Vision can be held at WOT without any funny business or porposing (even with a flush ride plate) At 78 lbs, it is ready for anything you can dish out (surf or flat) I rode my yellow Vision in the surf several times and it was an absolute blast . The ability for it to turn on a dime and grip the water, allows it to do cut backs up and down the face of the waves.
The full lenght Vision is def more stables and keeps the nose planted like an SJ.
Did you have a chance to ride josh's orange Vision at the WD?
we will have at least 2 or 3 Visions to demo in daytona including our first full carbon one.
