I did not get to ride josh's at wave daze. He and I had text back and forth about getting together for a Thursday ride before wd but he couldn't get out. Then when he did get.to ride his steering broke only minutes later. Not that I don't like big HP but I would love a test ride on a vision in Daytona that had a sub 900cc engine. I think it makes it easier to get a feel for a hull when the motor isn't over arm stretching.

Awesome Scott! The Vision army will be representing :)

I will have my -4 carbon Vision ready for demo. It will have just a 771 big bore with single 48 and stock electronics . This way you can really just feel the hull and not be over powered by crazy HP.

I still look forward to trying a Vision also and have always loved how that hull looks! If I already had an RRP pole when i was deciding on a hull then this hull would probably be in my garage right now

Finally got the engine in I got from matt113.

Seems to be right on with the new Bj 46,s.

I should be getting my back up motor from Art soon. It is ready too.

Now I need to test it before I go to daytona.

Not trying to derail this thread but what was Art able to do with your other motor? Will you be coming down to ride in Daytona before the freeride? I'd like to try a couple Vision hulls setup different ways.

Yes, I am going to try to come down before. I will see if I can find a cheap hotel.

No,Art could'nt save the cylinder. Still using the cases but thats it.

I also would check with xmetal and see what the cost would be for a custom length pole.

Well, it looks like the x-metal will fit on the Vision. The person that pick up the black Vision in Daytona will be putting one on very shortly. I will post some pics when he does

Would be nice to know that very soon. I have a xmetal pole right now on a ski I am selling but might keep it if it is going to work and be an ok length.

it has to be at least 39 inches from the pole bolt to the center of the turning system (most are about 36 inches)
