"W" Cut Ride Plate

Was just checking out the Wamilton's site and ran across this.

I can't imagine that it handles alot different than a D-cut. :dunno:

I don't know if strength is a factor on cut plates but the tips of the "W" would be a great place for a failure to happen. Plus can you imagine stabbing that > under your kneecap... I might carve my name in mine...

I see no reason for this idea, except for marketing. The D-cut does the trick.

im pondering making an SFL plate.

im thinking that the F and L edges will be more dangerous than the S corner.

that W plate is ass. i guess wammer is running out of ideas. maybe he needs to sponsor some better riders.
