Wammie Mounts Broke

They are maybe 3yrs old and I don't ride a whole hell-of-a lot.
Saturday, 1st ride of the 3 day weekend, Hualin a$$ across lite chop, WHAM!
Ended my weekend of planded ridin.

Is this about it on life expect for these mounts?
When I put these on, they were the best. Are there better ones out there now or should I buy another set of these.
It's a lot of work and I want the best.

What kind should I go with?

time is a motor mounts worst enemy

ive had mine break @ wot too..
felt like ski was tied to a pier!
i was going over 50 then it happened to me
slamed me down the pole and skipped me across the water
once i recovered....the motor had shifted fwd and wedged itself so we couldnt get it to sit back on the coupler had to get towed! that sucked!
i use oem mounts
i heard monkey grip were good

Ive found brand new oem mounts best.

My wammer mounts are either 5-1/2 or 4-1/2 years old, not sure which, but have been perfect so far.

If you are using kenney keepers, wouldn't they keep the motor from jumping so far forward if the mounts broke?

That is correct sir! I've limped back over a mile at 1/4 throttle thanks to Kenny Keepers. Broke 3 mounts that day!

Well now I guess I can kill two birds with one engine pull.

here is free little trick . oem are the best first the wammers are to hard of a compound and cause more vibration . but fill the backside off the new mounts with silcone caulk . this will slow down the rate of corrosion from the salwater if in those areas under the monts there are gaps were the salwater sits and destroys which causes the metal to coorode and break the bond between the rubber .
