I agree, full commitment is needed.

I was doing alright with that until my foot slipped out of the foothold on a nosestab, which messed up my ankle and knee for a few weeks.
After that, I've been very skittish, but it's getting better.

Old, but still ridin'!!!
Don't worry about it so much.

Like everyone said, commit to the trick and wear a helmet. After you've landed upside down a couple of times, it won't be a big deal anymore.

One other thing, get friends who are a-holes like me to ride your A$$ constantly until you just do it to shut them up.

i started with a stock 701cc lightweight ski doing ''invert nose stabs'' with no wave, and i was getting next and next to do a roll, suddenlly one day i did one,and then i started trying with waves, got new ski(more than 1 year ago),and then new hull some months ago and now i do like this...this one was one handed landed, but i've taken my hand off really late,i gotta learn how to take it off sooner...

i agree, just start throwing hugs inverted subs, or side subs. i started doing them off a setup wake and than i decided to throw a BR and i got closer than i thought i would so i kept trying. far a while i couldnt get close anymore and all of them felt like crap. but yesterday i watched the guys i ride with do it and i realized i was making to sharp of a turn on my setup wakes. after i realized that i started getting closer and closer. so that said practice inverted subs and work on your setup wake. doing those two things will make your first few BR's so much easier
