Ride location.

Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada

Wasaga offers the river for flatwater (only about 6ft deep on average), lots of boat traffic for those who like to chase boats, and the bay can get pretty rough... something for everyone. The launch area has plenty of parking (costs about $13 for the day), has washrooms, and a few picnic tables. The police don't generally bother us, and the people in the area don't seem to get upset. For those looking for some night life, the main strip (bars, restaurants, etc) is located next to the ride spot.

I have placed a few calls to local campsites for those looking for a place to stay and I'll post information as I get it.

I live locally and would be more than happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability.

Last year was a great time. Hope to see everyone again this year.

I have a cottage on Six Mile Lake approximately 45 minutes away from the spot, that's probably where ill be staying. I can sleep about 8 comfortably, running water, fire pit and a nice bed. For whatever reason you cant make it into a campsite or hotel. I have beers and more beers at my place, you are more then welcome to come stay.

I talked to Wasaga Pines Campground today and here's what I found out....

They had 8 campsites that are grouped together. (only 11 total left in the whole park)

Water and hydro at each site.

4 adults per campsite (2 children allowed per site also, but 4 adults max).

2 tents per site (dinning tent counts as a tent).

2 vehicles per site (trailer counts as a vehicle) extra vehicles can be parked in an overflow parking lot.

Price is $58.76 taxes in per night per site. (reservation is for Friday and Saturday night but can be changed to suit).

Check in time is 2pm and checkout time is 11am.

In order to hold the 8 sites that are grouped together, I have prepaid for them. If you wish to book a camp site, please let me know. I will require full payment in advance and all remaining sites as of July 6th will be cancelled (so I don't get charged for unused sites).

Book early! Hope to see you there!
