Haha I feel ya! This video would be way longer if I fixed it! Forth of July weekend my ski kept dying for no reason. Turns out the stator was screwed up. So I got a new stator and flywheel and now it hauls! I talked to mark gomez the other day and he said he was pretty proud of people like me who get into the sport when they're young! He also said I should stick with it till I can't ride anymore. Greatest day of my life!
You got to talk to Gomez? You are lucky! I also lost total spark, so today I took it to a guy who knows electrical and can help me out. I can't wait till I can try a race class or get really good! I'm loving this sport! This is my first year and I don't want to stop either. My uncle gave me a 550 for free! It doesn't need much and then I will sell that one! I can't thank anyone enough who has helped me or introduced me to this sport!
Haha yes! Everyone I talk to about the sport is telling me how I will never get bored with it. Ya know this winter I thought of dropping a 760 engine in it. But then I realized that is it a waste of money. Basically because I could buy a sn sj for the same price as the conversion. But hey! Who knows, I might do it!
Yea that'd be crazy! I want to ride a good running 550 before I do anything like that. I would like to try and upsize the pump when I have money. But it probably buy the trim and better bilge switch for my rn sj first! Do you just have your one 550?
Yes. I hear all my friends talk bout how I'll never have fun on a js550. But I can tell anyone that there all wrong! I can do basically everything I can on my 550 that my friend can do on his sj built by crazy Joe's customs! I mean, this things a riot! The only problem is the gas lol.
Crazy joes customs?! I'm missing out on everything up here! Like did he stick his sj in their custom hull? I want to get a good look at one of those freeformfactory hulls! I heard they weigh 53 pounds!
No the hull is stock with footholds and an aftermarket pole. It has a pimped out 650 engine maxed out! It's a pretty good machine
Oh that's kinda like my rn! It has so much stuff done to it before I got it! Like the riva head and it's a 760 with b pipe and a unknown waterbox (maybe a tdr?) footholds, scupper valve, carbon fibre reinforcements. Shortened aluminum pole, wamiltons lowered hood(lost my hood piece :/ ) and the steer plate from wamiltons. Mag pump. And god knows what else! That was all I could visually find! I got so spoiled! I'm very thankful though!
