Ha....when you put the suit on, you will invariably have air trapped in it. Once you get in the water up to your waist or so you'll know it, too.....you'll be a huge bubble from the waterline to you neck. Simply put your finger in the neck seal and submerge yourself to just below that point.
The goal is to get the air out. I imagine it would be very tough to swim with that bubble.
 
Dry suit care.

Make sure you guys use "Silicone spray" inside and out on all the latex seals, as this will extend the life of your suit. I usually recommend treating them once per month. After riding, hang the suit up away from sunlight, and DONT EVER.. leave it wadded up in your gear bag, trunk, etc.

A good drysuit, will last many years if correctly cared for, and yes they need to be baggy to allow for full movement when you "bail off" at high speed..
