Water coming in somewhere.... RRP pipe??

So I just installed the new php, im running a carbon RRP wet pipe... I can not for the life of me keep from finding water droplets on the raves after a ride... I've made sure it's not coming thru the carbs... they are not wet and i have prefilters on them now just to make sure... no water being thrown up either... I checked all that on the trailer... I thought it may be the exhaust just running back into the chambers when I come in nose kinda high, but the issue gets worse the longer i ride (oil is milky after a long ride instead of just some droplets on the raves) I did notice that the manifold from RRP seems to not match up well to the exhaust gasket making me think maybe it's spraying in at that point... either way I can't figure it out... I've installed a flow control valve at the water box also just cut down the water there, and I also noticed the RRP water injection fitting is just an open tube after the jet and not a spray bar by any means...

Check see if your water box split? Happens on the silver ones.

water is getting in the engine on the exhaust valves.... box is new so don't think that's the issue and I would have seen that on the trailer... Im thinking of trying to fix the spray bar to make it spray back down the stream instead of just straight down... drop the jet from a 120 to an 80 also, and pressure test the cooling system to make sure it's not leaking at the manifold gasket..

This is the first thing I found when running the rrp water box with no Eva block below it. After adding 3.5 inches below the box it raised the stinger high enough to be above the surronding lake water level with the ski at rest in the water.

I run open ended spray tube, no problems.
Check gaskets/o-rings on exhaust and head

Same here but on the backie chains we are limited on pipe clearance and can't raise the pipe any more. Found easiest solution is to put a rubber flapper on the exhaust pipe like a ski boat. Not the prettiest but works and is cheap.

@chrisgrace fought this issue for a long time, ended up making a trap after the waterbox

fixed that for ya.... never had an issue with a PFP

A lot of it depends on the hull its in. If you can't raise the end of the pipe high enough to make a good "trap" then water gets in easy.

Agreed, the stock PFP box is pretty high on the inlet with a very low exit

These don't even fit in low deck hulls. I had to design a lower Power factor style to fit them in my hulls but greater chance of flooding the engine. Screwed either way unless you run a b pipe. We just started running flaps on the tail pipes and no issues yet

That's because it's like a foot tall. Won't fit in a lot of hulls

Just because you don't see it or the effects of it, does not mean it is not happening. Even on a dry pipe, there is some water in the chamber.

well, I pressure tested the cooling and no leaks... so it's got to be the exhaust... I rejetted from 120 to 80 in sprayer, turned waterbox around (i had it it backwards but backwards made the most sense when you look inside. I also raised the box up about 2" off the bottom. I have considered a flapper and may still do that as this is a silly thing to deal with. This is my first lay down pipe and I had not even thought about it backing up. anyone got pics of their flapper? Im sure I can just buy one from an old Kawi but would like to see what yall did

this is how I put in my waterbox, but instrctions say different to have high side on exhaust and high side (middle of box) inlet on pipe....
