Water line restrictors?

Ok I've done some searching on both here and google and cannot find it...I'm wondering what I can use for water line restrictors for my water lines...I know about the jetworks ones and the needle seats, but those are both expensive and I don't have them easily obtainable. I doubt I'll even need them here in georgia, so I don't want to spend a bunch of money on them, but being as I'll be riding here shortly I want something on hand just in case I need them..I remember reading somewhere that someone used some sort of plastic bolt sleeves from Home Depot, or something like that and they came in different sizes. Or even fuel/primer line? I just CANNOT find it anymore...what are some recommendations?

I stuck primer line in my pissers to get me by, but I have the new Cold Fusion pissers now that have an adjustment built in.
Can't wait to try out my new cold fusion pissers out too! Worth the extra money for me because I need new pissers anyway..

I used 3/8 nylon rod from McMaster. Then I cut a bunch of 1 inch segments and drilled different mm holes in them so I had a bunch of different sizes. I got the idea from someone here.

If you have an Ace Hardware close by look for nylon spacers in the bolt and nut section. They fit right inside water lines and the center holes come in several different sizes or you can drill them out as needed. Plus they are only .20 or so cents a piece.

This is what I think I was looking for...you might have even posted it elsewhere I just couldn't find it again...are they like washers, or what not?

i use egg sinkers for fishing. You can find a size to fit tightly into the hose and you can drill them out to whatever size you need. I have used them for years to tune the flow of water.

That's a good idea, although, drilling those I feel could be very precise...I know I have some in my tackle maybe I'll try that out..

Here's a good one... I use old mikuni SBN brass seats (from needle and seat sets). I have a bunch of old ones from carb tuning and rebuilds over the years. Just drill to size needed, remove o-ring and they push nicely into a 3/8" line. I recommend facing the empty end (where the needle was) to the exit side of water flow, less likely to plug up this way.

Yep, I knew of those, but unfortunately they can be pricey, and I don't have them on hand...I do have one spare from my rebuild, but it will most likely be used in my b pipe stinger...
