Water temp at Daytona Beach ?

What the temp of water at Daytona Beach right now ? I looking at web and finding some funny numbers like 42 degrees. is it ???

weird this one says 69. and i think weather.com said 70 the other day.

anybody who's been in the water this week know how warm it really is?

the water up here is 44... i would think it should be much warmer down south.

Than again, once the water temp dips below 80 I reach for the wetsuit.

it's around 70ish. its warmer in down there in the gulfstream.

40 miles north....can't be too much different.. Today, according to the surf station 49.5 degrees.
Last year the water temp at the freeride was 53 (I think)

But the air temp looks Great!

Don't expect 70 degree water. I promise you, it will be closer to 50. Bring the neoprene.

The observation buoys are out near or in the gulfstream. They do not give you any idea of the surf temp.

right 65 is warm. the warmest it gets here in the summer is 74 ish. so 65 is not that bad.
