How's cold is the Daytona water?

Do I need the full 2mm or will a shorty be fine?

Dude I dont even think I'm going to be rockin a wetsuit. I'm bringing my 2mil just in case, but more than likely I'll just be riding in boardshorts and a longsleeve rash guard.

Not water temp though. I wish. Check the surf report thread I think the water temp is in that thread somewhere. I'm guessing the low to mid 70's which is very comfortable if its warm outside.

Yeah man and 65 aint even that bad. It's gonna feel great especially with that 80deg air temp. Anything will be better than the 40's I've been in up here in Alabama. I thought this was the south and it was supposed to be warm.:banghead:
