I believe liquid graffix on this site has done some ski parts....ebox half, flame arrestor...I forget but based upon his screen name it might be his occupation.

I thought that may be how rrp gets the carbon look on the ends of the handlepole. It gets all skewed on the sides like liquid transfer does

I had it done on my bosses hunting rifle. Pretty durable, after you dip it, rinse and coat with a two part automotive style clear coat. I'm considering it for one of my rifles but $150 for hydro dip is painful when I can rattle can it for $40 with decent results. It's a cool process though.

I saw Fast Elements do some RRP poles, bars, etc about two years ago. Seemed to hold up decent. Think a few others tried a few items. Seems pretty cool and about the same as paint if its cleared over properly

That's probably what I'm talking about. My buddy's pole came from Fast Elements. I haven't given it a close lately look but it still looks fine overall. I think it is chipping a little but but not bad if I remember correctly.
