Blaster Waterbox go boom!

My dad blew up his waterbox the other day in the b1. He was chasing what we thought was an airleak, and while cranking it over with the hood up and face over the ski, the box blew up. Luckily he's ok minus some temporaily ear-ringing. Much louder than a backfire, and luckily it didnt catch fire! Anyway here's some pics.

That happened to me on a FX1 I Was buying. Testing compression, didn't turn off the gas. Went to fire it up.... Kabooom!
Seller supplied a replacement.

Friend bought a WB1 also with the box destroyed, seller said it was a 6 foot flame LOL... I've had my back fire stupid loud neighbors ran out side wondering what happened

Must be a common thing in blasters. Including ours, I know of atleast 2 others locally.

Trying to start for a while and fuel just sits in the box until a nice spark comes along. Happened to me thankfully my metal box survived but it was the loudest bang i've heard.
