Waterbox reviews.... Xmetal vs. H2O vs. Stock RN vs. Factory Waterbox

I need to purchase a new box for my Aquabot and trying to figure which is best and the quietest... Not sure if a RN box will fit, but, basically do not want a screaming obnoxious sounding ski...!!!

Stock is the most quiet, but also the largest and heaviest especially when in use as it holds the most water. Xmetal and h2o are louder and throatier than stock but also smaller and lighter.

TDR fanboy right here. I know it wasn't on your list but might be worth a look, $215 plus shipping I believe for BNIB. Used them in all my skis and recommended to many friends who have been very happy with the size and sound, even with dry pipes. Get the baffled not the power spray if you choose TDR. Have fun

Not sure what exhaust your gonna run. But the xmetal inlet is to high in the bot for the type 4 dry pipe unless you lower inlet.

I am running an ATP waterbox in my X-2 (NYNJA C4 Exhaust routed to the rear) I just built. I think the quality was really good and the sound is perfect.

With that being said I just bought the H2O waterbox for my aquabot because they had a Black Friday special I couldn't pass up. If there wasn't a deal I planned on buying another ATP.

Xscream, by far the best box I have used. I have tried Factory pipe, yamaha, and kawasaki. The Xscream is just all around better

A few things I liked about the H20 is the bottom is angled so the box stood upright correctly in the rockered nose of my ski, the sides of the bottom are also angled so it fit the sides of the nose and sat flat on the bottom. The outlet pipe of the box rises a lot before it angels rearward so it offers more water intrusion protection by having the long exhaust tube rise more at the front of the ski. Was not too loud only slightly more than the factory pipe box I took off

H2O has been great in my Bot. Fits great, not too quite and not too loud.

Since I have EME's waterbox size is my main concern. I have a Gen 1 Xmetal that had to have the exit moved in one Q8, and a Ski innovations Box in the other Q8. I love the Ski innovations great sound and size, Its a shame @NattyMatt isnt around making these anymore.
