the time has finally come to retire whitney :puppy_dog_eyes::sad6: She has provided alot of fun in the last 4 years (including 3 daytona trips) and now she will be hanging from the ceiling of the shop overlooking the birth of her sibblings.

And now , here are the details of her replacement:
- the hull will be based on the new 08 SJ design. The bottom has already been layed up using multiple layers of bi-axial and kevlar fabric which was vaccuum bagged using vinyl ester resins. The bottom deck weight in at 37 lbs and is rock solid!

the target overhaul weight is 75 lbs (including foam and footholds)

:deal:
I see you are not using INNEGRA on this hull. How did that material work out on your previous build?

It worked out great but it was a little hard to handle as it did not absorb resin very well and stay down while applying. I'm only a couple pounds heavier with the kevlar and it feels alot more solid.

I will be posting detailed pics thoughout the build.

With about 20+ custom hull builds on my resume, I know this will best and strongest hull on the market today...hands down!:deal:

THIS is the greatest ski in the world.....

.... its not just a tribute.

pump alignment

Yesterday, I did the pump alignment. This is where I like to spend time to make it as perfect as possible. It is also very important that the rubber ring is firmly pressed agains the pump shoe , giving it a perfect seal and fit.

Here is some progress. the engine bed plate and firewall are installed. I always let the engine sit in it's proper location while the epoxy cures.

all plumbing will be installed next week
