With foam behind racing sponsons, the nose would start to ride high from the buoyancy. I used 3m 4000 on my install, its UV resistant and medium strength so the part could be removed if you want to. Oh and be prepared to cut down your screws to be flush with the side of the hull on the pipe side. I used a dremel cut off wheel.
