No offense Big K but I would guess to say that you have had minimal dealings with Jeff. Is he hard to get a hold of??? Yeah at times he def is. He's def not looking to screw anyone. If you want examples Id be happy to share some with you. Im not running to anyone's rescue either but you sure do spend a lot of time talking trash about the guy.

I have never talked to him. But I have had to deal with every single post about WDK since he started building hulls. Whether it be here or back when I was an Mod, then Admin at PWCToday... You take everything with a grain of salt. But when that pile of salt is a huge mound you start to figure out what is just someone bitching and what is an actual issue. I have also seen several of his hoods that were only a few months old coming apart. Hulls, coming apart (these are Rev Hulls). I also was one of the first non owners to ride his XJet that did not live in Oklahoma.

I am glad you are a happy customer of his and he has not screwed you over. I will say that Jeff is one of the most innovative builders in this sport. He just needs to learn (Still) about how to deal with customers.

I bought two carbon prepreg bottom hulls from jeff about 3 months ago, he is over a month late from the contract he wrote up and will not answer or respond to anything. Stuff comes up but communication is everything. Hope he makes right soon. Next season i was going to buy two 1200's but now starting to reconsider. He has usually been alright to deal with from past buys from me. I will just keep calling for now

WDK has been the source of more negative feedback threads than all the rest combine.
How is this guy still in business? I can't believe people still send this guy money

you should really not even consider WDK and go straight to www.watercraftfactory.com for your hood.

sure, its more money, but its WAY sleeker, with more options...and if you EVER break it, he will fix it.

...and he answers the phone every time.

you get what you pay for!

here is my thoughts on this.... no matter what unless items are painted at the exact same time in the exact same conditions there is always gonna be a discrepancy in the paint matching. granted i have not seen the razr hood and the boat it was on but i have had cars and two ski's painted and unless there is a full respray in volved or you painter is a picasso with the spray gun you won't have an exact match.....

but as far as dealing with waterdawgz..... do a search and see for yourself... he has done good by some and piss poor by others.... its like a game of crapps.... your fate depends on how you roll the dice and where they land

Paint matching ? good luck a body shop has to blend any panel replacement they do! I saw that advertisement (painted to match factory color ) lol You can't do it........

the next car to be sprayed in the drag radial mustang at my friends shop.... simple white paint job... keep it simple and you don't have to be 100% perfect on the body and prep work

I'm not sticking up for anyone, but if its in stock it seems to be okay. I just picked up a Razr hood, it was in stock, took me 2-3 wks to get it. Hard to beat for the money (Hood, Nose, Billet pole mount) for $625!

not for nothing but 2-3 weeks to ship something that was in stock that only should takes 3-4 day to ship via ups ground seems a bit excessive

I am so surprised there is still any horse left to beat. At this point it should be like the hotchick at the party that everybody knows has crabs, if somebody is dumb/drunk enough to do it, laugh with your buddies, sit back and watch it play out, high 5 when its done, console them in the morning. Eventually that drunk guy could be you...that hood could take 2 months to get here but sh*t it's hot and those tits are rockin' you got a condom in your pocket and your feelin lucky.
