I am still amazed about how clueless people are about the 1200. Most powerful engine out there!!! Lameys are a freakin joke when compared to the brute force of one of these platforms :deal:

I still want to see a pull-off, tie an EME 1000/1105 and a WDK1200 to each other about 50 feet apart and pull the throttles. That's the only way we'll really know.

Ok, maybe not a rope, chain.

But its the complete package that counts.. The motor might be more powerful, but I wanna see the WDK boat do 3-4 back to back backies on flat! Not saying it cant be done. Just would like to see it.

Huge

I am so sad I had to sell my 1200 life, is a bitch with one kidney. Gino you are going to love this dam thing. I boxed it all up and you should have it Wednesday of next week. Please take care of her! I have a strong working knowledge of this engine at this point and the engineering is incredible. Every piece is perfect. The power is almost to much to hold onto. I am going to save up some money and purchase a new one some time next year I hope.

I can't wait to get mine in. Got the pipe, intake, carbs and a bunch of other stuff. Now just waiting on the 1200 it's self. Hell yeah.

Hopefully if he builds it, it won't sub itself and fly into the shore like the 1200 did.. :poke:

I talked to Jeff about this. He said his grip broke and pinned his throttle wide open. Don't quite understand how it happend. He had equipment failure. It took off across the lake doing 80mph to nothing. It was really windy and so the ski was getting some air under it. Finally it hopped up and when it came down it hit a wave and started doing a sub under the water for about 60 feet. He said you couldn't see it. It came up in front of the dock and hit it at full power which jolted the throttle lever enough to go back to idle. It had enough speed left that it went up the beach a ways and not a girl over. She was not hurt. I hope I told it correctly. He thinks someone in the crowd had to get it on Video. I wish we could find it.
