I remember reading on here that he helped or designed the 800 engines. But why didn't he do like WDK and make a mount kit and billet cylinders for the 800 instead of the 62T engines?

The 800 motor came out in 1998. At the end of 1998 the IJSBA changed the rules effectively killing the Mod class. They adapted the S.S. class which made you run OEM cylinders. At this point there was no need for Lamey to come out with aftermarket cylinders. The lamey cylinders did not start to become really popular again until 2004-2005 when they started resurfacing more and more. Even now, PWC is not a huge market for Racersedge/DASA/Lamey.
