Waterdawg, xscream, trinity????

carbonjet's second Trinity has never been ridden. It is painted and as of this afternoon, put together with a stock drivetrain. It would be an excellent start without a wait. I'm starting to get some time on my Trinity Matrix XF and I freaking love it. I'm still getting used to it, but I love it more every time I ride it. The Trinity stuff is bullet proof. I have never heard even a rumor of a crack or other hull failure. Truly the best quality out there.

what do you want it for?

I find it interesting that only one person asked any reliant questions..." What do you ride now?"
Here is a good question you should ask yourself...
What do you want it for?
Do you want to race, freestyle, surf, just have fun on the lake? This makes a huge impact on what boat you might want to get.
Heck I can sell you a 550 for 35k. lol:poke:
Hey did you make it to Drench Fest in Calgary in 2009? Myself and 3 other guys put on a demo there.

oops just saw "flatwater freestyle"
duhhhh
then eme with x scream engine.

we can do this all day, what kind ski are u looking for?
freeride or Flatwater?

freestyle...

My problem is I rode my skis all summer in alberta(canada) and british columbia, and I have yet to see another ski. I am a lone rider. I am self teaching on everything from aftermarket parts, suppliers, ski set ups and can only go from what I hear as to how each hull rides. I am left at a bit of a disadvantage.

I spent the last 7 years up in High Level, Alberta riding a little :):):):) pond called Hutch Lake. Since I moved down to South Carolina I have bought 5 new skis, built one freeride ski up from scratch and am now planning to build another once my Trinity Hull is ready next month. $35K sounds like alot to spend on a ski but I would be so much further ahead to have done it myself years earlier rather than dicking around with half assed skis for so many years. Especially with such a short riding season such as yours.

I hope you take Josh up on his offer and fly down to ride some skis. Him and Lucas have some kickass skis and will show you how to use them to the extreme, plus "The Spot" is a one of the best riding zones I've ever experienced. We have an awesome group with a very diverse group of skis that is growing every week. I promise it would be a trip to remember. Time it right and you could ride just about every hull you mentioned above...except maybe the EME, nobody has one and after Jims ride on one at Daytona, likely no one will. They are definately a flatwater only hull.

You are going to get wwwaaaayyyy to many opinions here....you NEEEEED to go to Daytona next year IMO....NEEED! Tons of ski to inspect and ride and you are in no hurry.

Even in Daytona your head is going to spin with choices but at least they will all be in one place to look at and ride.

IMHO I would stick with Yamaha motor/pump based options.

I meant no one in our group, that's offering him to come ride, has one for him try out, just about everything else though.

Jim Hill rode the EME demo ski at Daytona.

I can think of 4 members here on the X that have EME hulls - 3 Q8's - 1 std EME.

I really liked the Q8 I rode on flatwater, but haven't tried it in surf.

He has said it's for flatwater freestyle, not surf use, so the Q8 would be right up there at the top of my list.

i agree you should take josh up on his offer, josh and lucas have some really nice high doller tuned to perfection ski's and these guy's know how to ride! just be sure your serious because me and the boys came back to canada with about 20g's worth of stuff lol! i was the last victim of riding there skis

superfreak + Xscream

Rickter + Xscream

Trinity + Xscream

I have ridden a few superfreak designs to date, with the exception of the newest hull..Hopefully will get a chance to ride that this weekend..Tems work is top notch...you could spot his hull at daytona with guys walking around carrying them over their heads

not to mention, Tem will BEG you to ride his skis...he wants input from all different types of riders..and you can see the exitement in his eyes whilst he is teling you about improvements and re-designs..

The Rickter has had some improvements since the first run and are absolutly the sickest looking boat on the water..I got a chance to ride aircraftsalz briefly last weekend, but looking forward to putting some time on it on home territory
his boat has so much power it was difficult to just jjump on and ride.....:censored:
I believe with proper reinforcement this boat will last as well as anything else...

a trinity demo boat woudl have been nice to try this past weekend........from what I could tell it looks like a very wet ride with lots of water being thrown off the nose....
again, havent ridden one yet..this is just my observation from watching a couple of matrices tear it up this past weekend..

the rickter that Tcurtis is selling with the Xscream 828

or the Trinity matrix pro with the XS 1000cc

both are phenomenal skis built to the hilt........I understand you want new new, but sometimes buying a ski (or any machine) of this caliber is better to have had a few test rides on it to be sure its perfectly dialed.......

this aint yer mommas 701!

IceMan

Building a ski in Progress
My Vote is

Hull:

Not Necessary in this order!!!

1. Lenzi1one
2. Rickter FS1 or FS2
3. Team Scream Hull by Superfreakskis
4. EME Q8

Motor:

1. Team X Scream (XS1000cc, 10 Mill, Dry Pipe, 49mm Spectrum Carbs & MSD T.L)

At the end of the day it will all depend on how you want to Ride.

With regards to the hulls, I suggest you test ride before you buy.

But the Xscream Motor buy it BLINDLY!!
