the same as people have said. "not complete" ,"Sold" i am sure there were more. He didnt even have business cards, he kept saying he was going to put them out later. I could deffinatly tell he is not a business man. Being an innovator and business man are two completly different ball games. I can deffinatly say his stuff is kick ass!But on the other hand i can deffinatly say he does not know how to run a business!

Looks like it was tested to me. Superramjet and a few others got to ride it too. It had a few bugs to be worked out, but even so, it was never meant to be a demo ski.

I know people tested it, its the fact that he lied about it to everyone. he could have just said it cannot be tested here for insurance reasons. Im not saying his stuff is bad, because i think it is amazing, but i would never buy it because i saw first hand what kind of guy he was!

What do you mean he lied about it?

1. It was sold to a customer. He was supposed to pick it up at Havasu. However, he only had half the $$$ with him.

2. It had some tuning issues.

he wasnt being up front about it, he was acting EXTREMELY shady. his stories kept changing. tunning issues and the ski not running are two completly different things. and....why would he sell a ski that has tunning issues?!?!:banghead: THAT IS MY POINT!

well...lol... unless you can build a ski like that yourself, (uhm..IF you actually wanted one, that is  ) if a person can actually afford to buy one, I think that'sa fairly lame excuse not to buy one from him, just because he has those particular "business issues". I don't give a rats ass how he operates his business in that particular respect, if I had the extra money ta drop on that bastard I'd make the transaction in a heartbeat. I guess those are key differences between me and you, norcal.

I think I understand your point of view, I just don't agree with it 100%.
I know that if jeff produced that ski for a corporation of some sort, and the corporation was handling all the "business" sides of transactions and whatnot concerning it, he wouldn't have near the scrutiny that he has been getting from people, and could focus more on the development of the ski, instead of wasting half his single-handed production time explaining to people why he doesn't have 50+ people taking care of customer services of various natures surrounding his company.

Well they're fixed now. But at the time he was pressed for time. I talked to him the Monday before WF's and he was just painting it. He left Wednesday. That doesn't leave a whole lot of time for assembly and tuning. So I'd say he did a pretty kick-ass job just getting to WF with the ski.

In his own words he has "production issues" plain and simple he knows he cant deliver the product in a timely, business like manor, I was only repeating what he said... I am just stating the obvious....
its obvious from your post you just cant grasp what im getting at...... for your sake i hope you eventually do before your business suffers.
As for my affiliation with Blowsion, you would be correct as I am, feel free to air you concerns to the Blowsion Corporate Head-Quarters at any time...

Maybe I will get fired
:haha:
I have no desire to contact "corporate headquarters" it doesnt affect me how you choose to present yourself........ i was trying to do you a favor and point out how you were coming across

400 to turf..........sorry, your only talking about 2-3 hours max............ maybe more if you are removing turf and re installing.........

thats if youre installing a pre cut kit onto a stock boat and do not really care about the outcome.....

it takes me about 10 hours to install turf on a new custom freestyle machine from sheets. im with crammit. $300 is the absolute minimum. at $300, the customer would have to help AND buy all the beer.

I agree completely:biggthumpup: It always takes more time to do the job right! And when that job is complete the time and quality will always show. The Rev is a perfect example.

Hey Charlie, last precut turf kit I did was in 2002........ But, No, I dont take 10 hours to do them..........Not building a build off boat....... In the past 3 years I have returfed about 5 times, so, it is not worth it to me to spend that kind of time, I know, sounds like a copout....... like I said earlier, turf is like shoes........... You are the turf king by far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big K, if it takes you 2-3 hours to turf, and you turf once a year, then maybe Charlie has something...

Charlie turfed my ski July 2005, and it has been abused to hell, and the turf is still in great condition.:woot:

Then your not riding hard enough to ware it out.............

Not all of the turfing was because of it wearing out.........

3 paint jobs, 1 refoam job, etc. This year is the quickest I have trashed turf, but started doing flat water rolls.......... so that not helping.
