I just use the clear hose from Home Depot or Lowe's...I like to know water is flowing through the system. Same with fuel lines, just clear fuel lines.

I can ride without a hood and not get any water in my ski...I do sweet subs that way. Don't hate!

When I am inspecting the engine is what I meants.

I tried using some of that clear silicone style plastic tubing from home depot for my old 650 sx dual cooling project and I found it worked well on the in lines since it only carried cool water. But the outlets and lines that moved water between components of the motor would kink easier and it made me uncomfortable using them. It also would kink if i needed to make anything other than a gradual bend in it. I ended up using the clear/braided home plumbing hose at Home Depot. I believe it was 5/8 OD and 3/8 ID. If I do it again ill be using the translucent air hose like previously mentioned, it's thinner OD and looks more trick than tradition air hose.
