Hey
I would like to get a MP3 player to bump some beats into my ears when riding. Have you guys some experience with this? and what do you use? :)

I bought one of the iPod water proof cases for the older generations that still had the clickwheel. Worked fairly well and didn't ever leak. Strapped it onto my arm and routed the headphones through my wet suit and to my helmet. I wanna say the brand is h2o audio.

I had a similar setup ^ I never ended up using it riding since when water would get in the headphones you could barely hear anything... I'd be interested in doing it again if I could find headphones that would drain well.

I had the ones that sealed in your ear pretty well. Kept most of the water out. But yeah, still had a bit of muffling every now and then.

When I was forced to swim distance I would wear head phones on occasion. I ended up with a type that only worked under water, but as far as ear buds, the kind with baffles sorta like hearing protection buds worked best at keeping water out.

2nd BK's opinion. I tried it but couldnt stand it. I like to stay on top of the engine noise and its warnings. It also took my attention away from other skis/boats on the water. Decided it wasnt for me, Im also the kind of guy that always shuts off the radio and rolls down the windows during "spirited" driving, I like to listen to the car for feedback.

Some of the guys i ride with use them and say it improves their riding in the surf...More balls if you like. I suppose it's the same as hitting the gym with your Ipod blasting, always help me stay focused and get the extra reps out.
