Blaster wave blaster problems

Bought a blaster for 500 bucks (pretty good deal). The thing is awesome but apparently I had to much fun. First on saturday it would run great most of the time but every once in a while it would bogg down. It would idle around fine just but when you hit the gas it would just bog out but not die. After puting in some new plugs and checking the fuel filter it still did the same thing. After a little bit of blirping it around it finally woke up and ran great for the rest of the day. On sunday I went to start it and it didnt do anything, I wiggled around the handle bar kill switchy thing and it started up fine and ran great for a while but then it just died while at about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle hitting some waves. I kept trying to start it and it turns over just fine but will not start at all. I checked the stupid stuff first and its got gass and oil. I then pulled a spark plug and sure enough it didnt appear I was getting any spark.

Now its obvious I have three problems--- bogging down every once in a while, tether kill switch acted up ONE time, now not getting any spark on plug.

What would cause these problems and Is it possible that all of these problems are related?

A little help would be great and if this has been talked about before a link to that post would be good too.

Thanks!

Try cleaning the electrical connection between the starter switch and elec box it should be just above fuel tank near steering cable

yea I think the start/kill button area is where im going to start. Where might I be able to find some wiring diagrams for this thing? or at least know what colors to touch with what? What im probably going to want to do is bypass the kill button right?

red and brown is killswitch wires. Unplug them and try. You can replace just the buttons and wire harness out of the start/stop switch for 60 bucks. Your cutting out issue also sounds like your carb needs to be cleaned. The internal filter might be plugged.

Yea I tried bipassing the kill switch and still no spark so I think the problem is deeper like cdi or coil.also checked all connectors and grounds and they are all fine

D-Nice

flap dem wings johnny!
take off the temp sensor in the head. go into the wire box an disconnect the wires for it an tape off the ones in the box. they tend to fail alot. had the same problem with mine. replaced the sensor an it ran for a month an started doing the same thing. runs great now.

hmm interesting, ill try it but I always thought a bad temp sensor will still allow a watercraft to get spark and start but just not go above like 3500rpms, that way you could still get back to shore.
