custum 24/7. it's supposed to be ajustable from the front to the back but it doesn't really work. my hood was one of the prototypes. A full production one might work right.

it works but you need to fab alternate covers to move it. its in the middle right now

What do you mean by moving the steering? It looks to me like there is only one spot to mount the steering.

it's adjustable. like butti said you need to make a new middle plate to alow it to move. I'll take pics to show later.

there is about 1 inch of adjustment forward and back by using different plates around the steering neck.. ill get a pic

I looked at the 24-7 page again. the production hood didn't adjust forward and back only up and down.

I only side mount in deep water. It's similar to a blaster in side mounting.

when we got these from chris he said he would build more but they would be built to order.

i think he told bill that he built a total of 7 and of those 3 or 4 went overseas.i think its the best thing sice sliced bread.i cant beleive they didnt catch on better.maybe cause you cant do hood tricks:cheer: i dont know but its wicked fun in the surf,i can tell you that:icon16:

I didn't think they got to full "production" status with those hoods...

I know of only two in use---yours and Butti's---who else has one?!?

I rode smitty's back in 03 it was definatly a trip.......... not great for flat water......... he had to stop using it becuase it aggrevated his shoulder.........

I think he was asking $1800 for the fiberglass one and $2400 for the carbon fiber one. that includes the steering system too.
