I finished fixing the 1100 waveraider motor (new ignition coil, rebui.lt carbs and fuel pump, and waiting on oil blockoff) so i removed the motor to put it in my 1993 waveblaster. I knew i would have to put in two new motor mount but when i removed the motor i discovered the Pto is different between the two water craft ( raider 5- blaster 3) I've read a couple posts of people doing this motor change in the last couple years, but no one mentioned having to deal with this problem. I've been going through old posts and havent seen a solution to this problem. the spline behind the pto's on the pump system are different so i cant just transfer it over.
Can i get an after market pto that will work?
can i transfer over the mid housing without the hole pump system? (unlikely)
I dont want to put the raider's pump system in, because from what i read that would involve alot of custom fabrication.
after market pump as possible solution?
