Custom/Hybrid Waveblaster's Superfreak Build

I went to Daytona with the intention of NOT buying an aftermarket hull, but to ride them and maybe determine that I didn't really want one and my superjet was just fine for what I do. Fail.

I received my hull about 2 weeks ago and I haven't had too much time to put into it because I've been busy at work. I wanted to get it ready for Wavedaze, but I'll be focusing on Buckwild's ski, and making sure he's ready. So Wavedaze I should be on my RN one more time. I hope after May 1 I can get cranking on mine.

Build should be as follows:
2011 SF Badass, -2 Hull, Carbon (I didn't weigh it, since that's always the first question)
785 Big Bore Built by Trey St. John at Marine Power Sports
48mm Full Specs I just had rebuilt by Ed Brazina (Ridiculously nice guy and some of the best customer service I have ever experienced)
Sectioned Raider Chamber
Stock pump
Xmetal waterbox
And a bunch of other stuff I probably shouldn't have bought

Big thanks already to Superunatural. I know he doesn't post here too much but any of the guys in MD will tell you he's always willing to lend a hand and has already put in quite a few hours on my ski.

Yes that is a very nice finish, what primer did you use ?

Thanks Josh and Tem, I never want to sand anything again.

We sprayed it with Awlgrip 545 Epoxy Primer like you recommended, Dave did all the spraying. After about 4 coats, I turned it over to my friend to paint for me. He filled, and block sanded it, and then shot it. The paint is Jet Stream Blue Metallic, off a Z06. Once the sun finally decides to come out in MD I'll get some better pictures, should really pearl in the sunlight.

Made a little progress yesterday. We got the pump in and aligned, and got the engine in, although I need to spend some more time getting that aligned better. Mounted the ebox, and modded my xmetal turnplate to use my new RRP bars.

I should get a good amount of time to work on it this week, yesterday was the first day I've really made any progress due to work/family functions/ etc....

I would like to be riding this weekend, but more realistically it will be 2 weeks.

Looking good , Is the E box going to clear the head pipe ? hard to tell from the pic. Give it lots of room for failed rolls or what ever mayhem this ski will see .

Yup. I think it's just the angle of the pic. I offset the ebox to the right side of the ski a bit and had the head pipe on when I mounted it. Should be good to go. I wanted to mount it centered and use the bolt for my brap strap but couldn't work it.
